History: Theobald hails from a village terrorized by goblins. At a young age his father died while driving off some goblins. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in quarterstaff use. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it
