Roger Hornsby, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right leg, he wears a robe, a symbol of magic around his neck, and a rapier on his belt. His silver hair is knotted and matted. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Mortician born in the past three hundred years. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Roger was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Roger decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.
Ideals: Fighting. Bonds: Job, Criminal record. Occupation: Mortician
Voice: Hissing voice

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.
History: He got into the Fortune-teller business at a young age. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. Personal [hide]
Description: He dresses like a well dressed Ploughman does. He sports a flattop hair cut. His eyes are a pleasant amber.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hubert embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.
History: Hubert was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Heward Carlyle, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He is wearing a long, blue cloak. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy red hair. His violet unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is frequently practicing swordplay.
History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
