More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Born in the west to a Mason, Thomas learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he is typically in his Mayor uniform. His moppish red hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His violet eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Rolf grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He tends to his Mayor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and to be a baker again

He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with black colored cloaks and clothing, and his gloved hand is found clutching a falchion. With a patchy blonde beard and wild blonde hair. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He uses divination through singing.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
