History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Hugh alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

History: Manfred lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Map Maker arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Dyer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Map Maker, and he later adopted a second son.

History: He was born in a small island village. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gilbert was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He bought a hand crossbow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
