History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Conrad grew up listening to his father's many stories. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Ruler and occasionally as a mercenary.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Bertram lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
