Roger Altham, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: Standing 5'11", this man dresses like a well dressed Spice Merchant does. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy silver hair. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.
History: Roger was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Roger grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Roger. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Simon Whitby, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]

He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north.
