He wears a deerstalker hat to cover his moderate length chestnut hair. His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is a Slave Trader first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in the south to a Slave Trader, Gerard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His hair is long and auburn with streaks of red, and is pulled back with small violet clips. His beard is red, braided, and well cared for. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. Lance enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lance fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy blonde hair. His brown eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Heward wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

His black hair is still thick. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he wears a fancy white suit. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His eyes are hazel and catlike.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Thomas was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Thomas decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
