History: Anthony was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Anthony alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Bertram was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: He was born in the east. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Alex fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Layabout. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: The child of a Jeweler, who enjoyed hunting, Reynard was taken on many hunting expeditions. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Layabout for the past few years.

History: Born to a Cook, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Heward was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Heward decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.
