Bernard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Theodoric was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Theodoric was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Theodoric's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
