Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing painting.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Soapmaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hugh grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He struck the Unemployed job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and a rival would like him out of the picture
