Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. Hugh enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Hugh was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and wears bulky brown painted plate armor. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He sports a long auburn beard, and similarly colored long hair. He has several tiny opal earrings on each ear.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Map Maker arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: His skin is bronze and flawless. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He is an epitome of beauty. His moppish auburn hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his gray eyes.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Bernard was born the youngest of three triplets. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.

Description: He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'3" when asserting himself. His blonde hair is thinning but still full. His hazel eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy black stubble. He wears long strands of jet and short blue dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. He has a hunchback. His black hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. This violet eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He bought a halberd and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear
