Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Anselm's homeland. Anselm decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and a deep hatred of illithids

He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. He wears a broad hat to cover his moderate length white hair. His eyes are likewise green.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Hunter was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Hunter decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Gilbert will drive conversation. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his music with anyone who is interested.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.
