He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Adelard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He now owns his own business.

History: He was born in the north. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Cook they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Engraver, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Engraver responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor

History: Alexandre was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Alexandre grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Alexandre. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
