Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Lewis lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Lewis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bookbinder they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Engraver, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bertram embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
