History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. The war was a terrible time for him, and Adelard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When Adelard reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Gilbert was born the youngest of three triplets. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: He was born in the east. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
