History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Manfred and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and balancing his hectic life and new farmer responsibilities is difficult

Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Shane never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
