Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Masseuse business.

History: Hugh was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was born into a rich family. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature kukri.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Shane was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Stylist. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. After coming to the age of reason, Dean took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
