History: He was born in a small plains village. Adelard was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Adelard decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Miner work with an outfit from a few towns over. Miner work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Miner.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.
