History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Percival alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Percival was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Healer. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Herbalist they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Healer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: Alex lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.
