Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Hunter. He now owns his own business.

History: Conrad was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bricklayer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bricklayer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Bricklayer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Kody's homeland. Kody decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to end his boredom

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Brewer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Roofer. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He's in love; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
