Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a brown vest and prefers tan and black shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. With a patchy chestnut beard and wild chestnut hair. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Bertram's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Engraver. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Wymar is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Wymar was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Brewer. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: Conrad was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Cory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
