Description: With white face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His hair is long and auburn with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small green clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. He has a dull look in his violet eyes.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hugh fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and to share knowledge with the world

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 8 years.

History: Born in the north to a Carter, Lance learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
