History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Charles alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Slave Trader for hire.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Kody's homeland. Kody decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
