History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He's also a talented Sailor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Assassin responsibilities is difficult.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting orcs, the young Dean began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
