He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Adam and his spouse have recently divorced.

He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His first spouse was a Butcher, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Butcher they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Marshal, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He wants revenge against drow; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Lance grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Lance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
