Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Heward is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Ploughman work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ploughman work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now owns his own business.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born to a Fisher, his father struggled to pay the bills. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
