History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Through the years after Jocelyn was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Jocelyn's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Jocelyn and his spouse have recently divorced.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Bertram is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Spy work with an outfit from a few towns over. Spy work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He tends to his Performer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

The war was a terrible time for him, and Simon does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born to a Gardener, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Simon was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

His skin is also unnaturally pale. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep violet.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gifted student he started as a Shoemaker, but he got bored and became a Cartwright. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cartwright and was forced into it by his family; and balancing his hectic life and new cartwright responsibilities is difficult
