Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.
History: He was born in the west. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.
Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Description: He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy chestnut hair. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and retire the richest man in the west

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears professional attire. He has a long silver beard with little hanging trinkets. He has blue eyes.
Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Everard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Interpreter. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, John grew up listening to his father's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
