Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Nicholas embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Nicholas was born the youngest of three triplets. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Stylist. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears dull black sweaters, loose brown pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed whip, just in case. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his green eyes.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has worked as a Baker like his mother before him.

Motivation: To be a Shoemaker again; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: This dark-skinned male wears a yellow shirt with thin pastel vertical stripes and green pants. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His blonde hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and doesn't want to be a detective and was forced into it by his family

Description: This tall, slender man wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his pickaxe with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He wears a colorful flower in his auburn hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Reynard hails from a village terrorized by drow. When Reynard reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
