After coming to the age of reason, Bernard took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When Manfred reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Simon was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Simon's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Simon and his spouse have recently divorced.
