History: Bertram was born the youngest of three triplets. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
