History: The child of a Engraver, who enjoyed hunting, Bernard was taken on many hunting expeditions. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Merchant. He became a Merchant soon after.

When his mother died while fighting gnolls, the young Norman began to lead the lost caravan. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he wants revenge against orcs
