History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Adam never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
