History: He was born into a rich family. Through the years after Clerebold was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Clerebold's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Robert fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Roland hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Roland alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
