History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adam fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Everard was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
