History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Anselm was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Raymond's homeland. Raymond decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he is greedy

Personality: Manfred speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
