After coming to the age of reason, Gilbert took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

This search led him directly into Healer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Healer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers.
