Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 5'10". He prefers to wear flannel, and his gloved hand is found clutching a quarterstaff. His long auburn hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: His left side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears a tattered pair of loose black pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. He keeps his black hair in a pixie cut. His eyes are green and beady.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Engraver. Nicholas is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Nicholas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Engraver work with an outfit from a few towns over. Engraver work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Body Guard they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Engraver, and he later adopted a second son.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he usually wears his blue robe and has his shortbow always slung over his shoulder. His black hair, when down, is lengthy. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Assassin profession.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has taken up work as a Sage and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he is greedy

Description: This man tends to wear a blue poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His hair is blonde, silky, and of moderate length. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Born to a Painter, his father struggled to pay the bills. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To be a Painter again; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is light but he possesses many black ritualistic tattoos. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.
