A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He got into the Butcher business at a young age. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Justin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Butcher for the past few years.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He has all his life been fascinated with painting.

History: Born in the east to a Body Guard, Hubert learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.

History: Miles was born the youngest of three triplets. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying east to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
