He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. He has wavy silver hair. His blue eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'6" when asserting himself. His hair is long and white with streaks of blonde, and is pulled back with small brown clips. His beard is blonde, braided, and well cared for. He has a dull look in his blue eyes.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Bernard is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He has never given up on his painting dream.
