Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Patrick grew up listening to his mother's many stories. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Courier. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Diggory lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Diggory fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and wants to raise his children well

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
