History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He tends to his Knight job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Aldous wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Barrister business.

History: He was born in a small plains village. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he feels threatened by others

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and he wants to get laid

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hugh embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he's looking for his big break
