Description: This late middle aged man wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame and is in decent physical shape. His blonde hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His hazel eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. The war was a terrible time for him, and Shane does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Shane was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with yellow colored cloaks and clothing. His black hair has been sun bleached extensively. His gray eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Balimaar was born on a far eastern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Shoemaker. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.
