History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Alex was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hugh embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was born in the west. A gifted student he started as a Tailor, but he got bored and became a Courier. After a long history of fighting, Hugh and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To be a Tailor again; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and he wants revenge against gnolls

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.
