Henry Colby, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. His hair is blonde and curly. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: Henry is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.
History: Cory lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Mayor work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mayor work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has worked as a Mayor like his mother before him.

Personal [hide]
Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right hand, he wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy chestnut hair. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: To end his boredom; and seeks redemption
Ideals: Opinionated. Flaws: Cynical. Bonds: Attractive. Occupation: Baker
Voice: Pronounces difficult words wrong

He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense.
