Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. Ernest is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
