History: Arnold was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Interpreter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Arnold was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

History: Randal lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: Human compassion; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: Born to a Dilettante, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
