Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. One day when Charles was young, his mother was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his mother dropped to the ground dead. His mother had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Charles was heart-stricken from the event, and his father started working long hours to provde for them. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Ruler. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Ruler for the past few years.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and he seems to be bored by most things

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Performer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Performer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
