He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He tends to his Butcher job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He got into the Soapmaker business at a young age. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Lance alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has worked as a Soapmaker like his father before him.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Cory embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Cory was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and wants to work out more often

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and to prove his worth to the world

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He uses divination through singing.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
