History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Mercenary arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. History: He was born into a rich family. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered illithids who tried to eat his hand. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Ralf was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.
